This review is from: Strathwood Cypress All-Weather Wicker Bistro Chair, Brown (Lawn & Patio) along with the lounger this is easily the best value in the enitre range & quite stunning. we bought 4 of these & are very pleased. they are comfortable, & take up little room. the price is simply incredible. we bought 2 of the wicker chairs; they too are lovely, & slightly wider, but they represent lesser value. however they do finish off the set wonderfully well. the only criticism is with the cushions, they get dirty very quickly even from the rain, & though they can get washed, this is a real nuisance. btw the loungers in the same collection are also different & wonderful. It fits nicely into a small space without hogging too much room. Clean lines, modern looking, unique. I've paired it with the similar wicker sectional set. comfy but not 'overstuffed' (i don't like the oddly oversized furniture sold at many box stores). If the construction is similar to the sectional set, should hold up very well. Note that it is made of polyethylene, not PVC (polyvinyl chloride). PVC is very toxic in its manufacturing; i bought this chair specifically because it was not made of PVC/vinyl. I live on an island and everything takes a wee longer to get to me. As for the chair, I was a little disappointed with the size when I first saw it. It was my fault for not looking at the dimensions, but the picture gave me the sense that it was a large chair. It is much smaller than I anticipated. The chair is comfortable. It is well made. Despite all the complaints I saw on the items before purchasing, these really have proven to be good quality items at great prices. Easy to assemble. My 3 year old little girl helped so it took about an hour longer but we put together 4 chairs, 2 chaises, and the coffee table in about 3 hours. The chaise lounges were very nicely made. When I received it, it was damaged, a HUGE crack the whole width of the table. I called and returned it. When the new one came, same crack, same place!!! No one has returned my calls or emails regarding this second table which I guess my Mother is now stuck with. We tried gluing it, it turned out alright but for the money I paid for this, it should have been in great condition when I received it, if not the first time, then at least the second time. I am so disappointed. I bought a bench and two chairs as well for this collection. I also purchased an outdoor dining set with table, four chair and a bench. After all the money I spent with your company, you should have the courtesy to at least send a decent coffee table to me! I will never, EVER purchase another thing from you......EVER. It was extremely easy to set up. I really like the convenience of it folding up for easy storage when not in use. It is heavy enough to be sturdy yet light enough to pick up and move around. My only negative comment is the length: My husband is 5'10" and the hammock is just about right for him. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone much taller than that. Other than that it is a great product! Those of you liked this product have never laid in a hammock. There is this incredible womb-like property a hammock has, mostly because the material of the hammock assumes your shape, and because of that heady swaying motion that almost on contact transports you to a warm fuzzy place. This is not that. This is a cot. The material is a hard resin with no give, and more importantly, there are four points of contact, not the two that a hammock traditionally has, i.e., NO SWAY whatsoever. I was soooo disappointed. Nicely made, but it's a nicely made cot, not a hammock. I wouldn't say it's even remotely like the experience of laying in a hammock. When folded up the size is pretty big and heavy but it seems like it will stand the test of time. The only drawback is the crappy little flat pillow they added to the product. They should have put a velco strap on it so it secures to the headrest area or just cost reduce it out of the product all together. Most people use their own pillows anyways.
